SIRLOIN STEAK WITH PESTO SAUCE
Ingredients:
• 180gm sirloin steak
• 1 tbsp pesto sauce
• 1 tbsp tomato paste
• 1 tsp unsalted butter
• Salt, a pinch
• Pepper, a pinch
• 100ml water
• 50ml Kara Creamed Coconut (paste)
Method:
  1. Season sirloin steak with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat butter in pan and fry seasoned steak for about 2 to 3 minutes per side for rare to medium rare.
  3. In another pot, stir in water, tomato paste, pesto sauce, salt, pepper and Kara Creamed Coconut (paste); bring to the boil and simmer until sauce thickens.
  4. Place steak on serving plate and pour coconut pesto sauce over steak.
  5. Serve with pasta, french fries, rice, salad or cooked vegetables.
